Sonus ƒaber OLYMPICA NOVA II
Since 1983, many moments have marked the history of Sonus faber; the launch of the Olympica Collection in 2013 is one of them.
The original Olympica collection was one of the first lines presented as a complete family of products. And above all, it was the very first to feature original drivers, entirely designed within the Sonus faber “household”.
Olympica Nova II is the second generation of that iconic product family of 2013. Improved in both its form and substance, the Olympica Nova range is imbued with the timeless values that inspired Sonus ƒaber in creating the original line.
The result is an entirely new collection of loud-speakers that embrace some of the most advanced Sonus ƒaber technologies and workmanship.
Olympica Nova II is the smallest floor stander of the collection, but it expresses everything needed to satisfy the most demanding of acoustic requirements. The eye is first drawn to the distinctive shape of the Olympica Nova II. And the lack of flat and parallel walls improves enclosure performance and maintains the typical asymmetrical Lute form of first generation Olympica.
The asymmetrical shape of the cabinet is an original design concept that allows versatile positioning of the speakers to tune the bass response in any room.
Inspired by nature, the lines follow the flow of a circular spiral motion, achieving a more organic cabinet structure.
No longer just a functional element added to handle airflow, the reflex duct is now fully integrated into the cabinet, further improving the speed and transparency of sound.
LYNGDORF TDAI-3400 AMPLIFIER
With extreme audio processing options combined with state-of-the-art digital amplifier technology, the TDAI-3400 is the most powerful Lyngdorf product in the class.
Through the web interface you can perform all setup and operations from the menu system, which allows you to tailor your configuration and sound. The digital crossover allows 3 individual output settings.
Complete with Lyngdorf’s RoomPerfectTM correction software to eliminate the negative influence of the listening room, the TDAI-3400 delivers a perfect result without the need for extensive room treatment.
A variety of inputs and outputs provide plenty of options to connect your audio and video sources and speaker system.
Seven digital inputs including a balanced AES/EBU and USB inputs all support high-resolution formats.
And 2 analogue inputs are available for connection of simple, traditional music sources. Finally, optional input modules allow an excellent, custom upgrade pathway if preferred.
The TDAI-3400 in-built media player accepts most interfaces and features the highest playback quality. Via your local network or the USB connectors, you can access your entire library of music through the DLNA/UPnP enabled player. This media player also connects to streaming services such as Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, and Airplay as well as internet radio.
