The solid chassis of the Model 30 is constructed from heavy, non-magnetic aluminium panels.

Fully Discrete And Accurate Detailing
Both the Marantz Model 30 and SACD30N are built on discrete circuit boards, the Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Module, or HDAM. By custom-curating hundreds of individual parts, rather than adopting an off-the-shelf solutions, the Model 30 and SACD30N custom HDAMs significantly outperform standard integrated circuits to create the unique musicality you always expect from Marantz.
Marantz Musical Premium Phono EQ
Envisioned to deliver optimal sound quality by simplifying the signal path – vital given the delicate nature of phono signals – the Phono EQ stage in the Marantz Model 30 can be used with both moving magnet and low-output moving coil cartridges, thanks to a built-in MC head amplifier.
In order to optimize sound performance when using a moving coil (MC) or magnetic moving (MM) cartridge, and to accommodate all configurations as much as possible, the Model 30 is also equipped with an input impedance selector. The input impedance can be adjusted to three different settings: MC LOW (33 ohm), MC MID (100 ohm) and MC HIGH (390 ohm).

Independent Variable Output Terminal
The Marantz SACD30N provides a separate low noise variable level connection output to active speakers, or a power amplifier direct input, letting you use it as a multi-source digital player/pre-amplifier. Volume can be controlled from the remote handset or via apps. When not in use, the preamp power supply is turned off to avoid any noise or interference.

The SACD30N marries a classic, high-end CD/SACD player with a modern digital HUB/PRE-AMP…now that’s clever!
It plays high resolution files including FLAC-HD and DSD from your home network, local USB storage device and on-line streaming and radio services.
The respected HEOS platform is in-built and opens the door to multi-room set-up and voice control.
Full DAC functionality, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth integration ensure that the Marantz SACD30N is as future-proofed as can possibly be, accepting file formats all the way up to 11.2MHz quad-DSD and 384kHz/32-bit PCM via USB.
Legacy System Connectivity
The SACD30N integrates the Marantz Musical Mastering digital-to-analogue converter.
The optical and coaxial digital inputs for a connected source component support files up to 192kHz/24-bit.
The SACD30N also includes a USB-B asynchronous input for direct connection to a computer.
The USB-B input is fully compatible with PCM and DXD music files up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD2.8MHz, DSD5.6MHz and DSD11.2MHz.
