Description
AudioQuest William Tell BASS Speaker Cable
William Tell BASS with RF/ND-Tech is the perfect cable for connecting the Bass and Midrange inputs of BiWireable or TriWireable loudspeakers when paired with William Tell ZERO or William Tell SILVER Full-Range cables.
RF/ND-Tech (Patented Radio-Frequency Ground-Noise Dissipation)
This technology minimizes circuit misbehavior by canceling induced RF noise. Ground leads in cables can act as antennas, inducing RF noise, which can degrade signal quality. RF/ND-Tech reduces this distortion, providing unprecedented levels of noise dissipation across a wide range of radio frequencies.
Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
These solid conductors prevent strand-interaction, a primary source of dynamic distortion. The extreme-purity PSC+ copper minimizes grain-boundary distortion, and when direction-controlled, helps with RF noise dissipation for improved sound quality.
ZERO-Tech (No Defined Characteristic Impedance)
ZERO-Tech eliminates characteristic-impedance mismatches, enabling uncompressed current transfer and linear noise dissipation. It reduces dielectric interaction between the cable’s insulation and conductors, providing unrestricted transient current and consistent RF noise dissipation across octaves.
72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS)
The insulation acts as a dielectric, which can behave like a shunt filter. DBS biasing minimizes dielectric noise and linearizes the filter, improving RF noise dissipation across a wide bandwidth.
Directionality
All drawn metal conductors have a non-symmetrical grain structure, resulting in directional grain alignment. AudioQuest controls this to optimize signal quality and RF noise dissipation, ensuring superior performance. The correct direction is marked with arrows on connectors.
William Tell Bi-Wiring
Bi-Wiring uses separate cables for the treble and bass frequencies, reducing distortion by keeping the large magnetic fields associated with bass energy out of the treble cable. AudioQuest’s RF/ND-Tech further enhances Bi-Wiring performance. For optimal results, combine a ZERO cable with a BASS cable for the best performance.
Carbon-Based Linearized Noise-Dissipation System (NDS)
RF noise from satellites, cellular towers, and other sources can mask audio signals. AudioQuest’s Linearized Noise-Dissipation System combats this by using multiple shields and carbon-based resistive networks, turning noise into heat and draining away bad energy from sensitive audio components.
Folk Hero Cold-Welded Terminations
AudioQuest’s Folk Hero cables use cold-welded pure Red Copper Spades or Bananas, with the copper submerged in a vat of pure silver. This prevents RF noise from being induced into the conductors, improving performance.
